For horror fans, especially us zombiests, it doesn't get much better than a new "Something of the Dead" movie from George A. Romero. Lucky for me, that's exactly what I get at this year's Sundance Film Festival*.
This marks Georgie's fifth zombie flick, and it appears there's already a sequel in the works! I'm getting ahead of myself. Head over to the Diary of the Dead MySpace page and watch the trailer and some behind the scenes video.
*Note: the new Sundance site is a beauty from Airbag and our pal Ryan Sims.

So- i guess i'll be the first to get it out there. This Movie was AWESOME! It was sooo funny, he nailed the teen comedy genre. His commentary on the web culture of news and information was soo topical. He referenced myspace, youtube and i think flickr. Sooo funny. (LOL! seriously!) Can't wait for the DVD outtakes- i heard there is one where this one Zombie goes to bite a victim on the neck- and the fake blood kinda tickles his nose and he just has to stop and itch it right in the iddle of filming… CUT!!! HAHA ….

Haha… yeah, for anybody else who is interested, I saw this movie with Danny C. and it was horrible. I mean seriously bad. Maybe I had too high of hopes, but this just wasn't Romero.
This was your grandpa trying to "talk like the kids", when in reality he's more detached than that chick's body at the end of the movie.
However, it may be able to be enjoyed as a bad movie one day, but I just wasn't ready for that. It did have a couple great gore shots though.

I must be the only person in the world who actually liked I Am Legend..I thought it was a great zombie-ish movie. I hear the book was much better though.
I have to check that "Diary" out!
Btw, love your website and love your projects. Give me a shout if you ever need coffee made or somethin'

Thanks Celso.
The book I Am Legend is much better than the movie. The movie made some really stupid changes to the story, like not calling them vampires. Definitely check out the book.
Don't say I didn't warn you about how bad Diary turned out to be though. :)
